Red Nose U Decals

Was there just 4 decals on a red nose? One on each side of gas tank. One on each fender. Red stripes on hood louvers. Anyone make set or do you have to create your own?

I question the red stripes on louvers. None I have seen have any. Sales literature shows them.

I have no idea on your tractor but. our 1948 Z did have red stripes on the louvers when it was new.

I have seen a few restored tractors that had the stripes. I'm assuming those would have to be hand painted? I've never seen decals like that.
Or did they use that pin striping tape?

We had a 39 UTS and a 41 UTS in the family, both bought new and never restored. Neither ever had red stripes on them.

Yes they Were painted. Pin stripe tape hadn't been invented yet back in those days. There was a tool with a bottle of paint. a guide to go along the edge, and a serrated roller to roll out the paint.
