M5 distributor

Has anybody found an automotive hei distributor that will fit a m5 gas. I have changed over to the electronic ignition instead of points but my distributor is all bound down and springs are weak. The advance under load lets the timing drift. I am sure will have to change pump drive and cam gear but that won't be hard to do.

I think I had a Chebby Vega distributor at one time I was going to try to make work on one of my Minnies either UB, M5, M602 or M670. I wonder what ever came of that project?? I guess CRS struck again.

I installed an ignition from a Pontiac 1000 into a u block and it fit perfect. Never had an issue with it. Wish I would have bought a few more.
