The question that we have is that our tractor has Serial num ber 25100008 and it says PKG 64 on the plate. It is made by Motc Inustries We believe the chasis is a Big MO 600 and the sheet metal is a 4 Star with a West Brick Buggy 30 foot max lift.

You are correct. Package 64 was made for West Brick Buggy and is based on the Big Mo 600. Yours should have an hydraulic shuttle. There
were only 63 made and you're looking for Supp A to R-2060A parts manual that covers the MM portion of your machine. Big Mo 600 used 4 Star
grill and sheet metal. Does yours have a Brick Buggy tag and serial number?

Brian

thanks for the info Brian. We will check on the tag on the West Brick Buggy for the serial number, it will takes us a day to get it. Thanks

Where did they all disappear to? I only know of 2 plus this additional one. Must of all had a hard life!

This one is not one of the 60 Big Mo 600. It's a package 64 which carried it's own unique serial number.

OK, this is what I have from the tag.

West Loader
manufactured by West Brick Buggy Corporation
Serial number 125
Model number WB600
3000 pound capacity
30 foot

Post a picture, if you can... I'd like to see it.

I've got a Big Mo 500 with loader & backhoe on it...

ok

Thanks for the pic! I always enjoy seeing the old equipment - especially unusual ones like yours!

Here is my 500. It showed up at a consignment sale unadvertised - and as they got to it, a guy hopped up and fired it up - and
engine sounded great... When I went to load it on my trailer, I realized why it was at the sale! ha I think the syncro is
out in the transmission because I could barely get it into gear...

Anyway, I'm still glad to have it! I'll get it fixed one of these days...

This may be a dumb comment. but I didn't know that any MM tractor ever used a syncro in any trans.

Well, maybe I'm using the wrong terminology. Maybe it is the clutch brake or something that is not letting the gears sync up
while trying to shift.

Mine has the shuttle shift transmission.

Howard

It has the torque converter with a foot treadle for forward and reverse? According to the parts books The reverse shuttle is the same as my Motrac. I have have never had to mess with mine, so can't help you much. But my best guess is either you have warped plates in the unit or the shuttle valve is out of adjustment, has stuck spools or broken springs, there are 4 spools and several springs in the valve. (if you want to unload it I would be interested HA)

howard, here are a few pics of my big mo 500. had all the cylinders rebuilt this spring, neighbor who is a machinist did it for me. the hoe is an ottawa. had really odd seals in it. also put new chains on the swing cradle. 6-4 leaf chain. i have 3 buckets for the hoe, trenching, medium and wide. mind will grind gears if you have the shuttle in neutral when you shift the main trans.

According to the parts book, the 500 is a mechanical shuttle. And you are right. If you do not declutch when shifting the trans even though the shuttle is in neutral it probably will clash the gears.

Getting back to my original question, does anybody know where I can get the front forks for my west brick buggy.
