M5 starter

Does anybody know where I can get a new style gear reduction starter for my m5. Have done a lot of restoration work to it and the starter shop said my old one needed lots of work . I think I would be better off using a new one. I have 167 teeth on flywheel and my old starter has 9 teeth on it.

Most of the gas or lp I have seen used the Mej6001 Prestolite. It has become a much sought after starter. Common to break off nose cone especially when converted from lp to gas. I have a couple. One had a new armature butnose broken, Sure have another also. Alot are being replaced with updated Delco equilavent like Del has responded.
