I raised my hand too many times at an auction and came home with a UB Special (gas)... She will need some work to get her back to the field..... anything special I need to know about them?

Oil filters are hard to find. I understand that NAPA 1118 will work if you shorten the stud in the filter housing. I have not tried this but will have to with next oil change. Any one else know about this trick?

Welters sell one that you have to add some shims I
believe. No permanent modifications. Definitely
worth the call.
