The tire sprung a leak after sitting in the same place for approximately 6 months It appears to be to big to plug. The tire is a tubeless Goodyear dyna torque 8 ply 23.1-26 . The other GBD tractors I have seen all had 34" tires. Anyone have any idea why this one has 23.1-26 tires. The wheel weight part # is (FT-652B) Patent # (1487257). Does anyone know what they weigh? 652 pounds?

Shorter is my theory. Easier to make a wide tire on a smaller rim with a sidewall that will hold up.

Back when those tractors and combines were popular, A 23.1 x 26" tire was a normal size for big combines in there day. A lot of the 23.1 x 26 " tires that I have seen on tractors were rice tires. Same for some combines. They were needed for traction and floataion. About all 'G" tractors could be ordered with that size. The rice tires worked good in very sandy soil. Been There,Done That. At one time I had two combines and three tractors with rice tires when I was farming very sandy soil.
