MM445 backhoe hydraulic drain plug or point.

I have a 1956 MM445 Industrial Backhoe. Every cylinder leaks and I replace about a gallon of 303 every couple days when I'm using her 3-5 hours a day. She sat all winter and I fired her up a few times and noticed how after an hour, she was losing power.

So, I'd like to change the hydraulic fluid and I have all the manuals, but can't find a reservoir it. I traced all the lines off the pump.

The vented fill point is near the top of one of the loader columns/supports and since there are lines that run off the bottom, I suspect those support are the reservoirs. There are vent plugs on each near the top. For the life of me, I cannot find a drain plug to empty it/them. They are connected via a line bridge between them.

Do I have to disconnect a line and drain it or am I missing something? Btw, there is no filter housing under the seat, but there is a line to and from it, connected with together as if someone took it out.

Is the filter housing somewhere else? I've pretty much gone over it and I can't find one. Or do I install some sort of inline filter. What brand or type hyd filter and housing could I use?

Thanks. First post. I'd like to get her in running shape for the season. Steve.

I have some books on the backhoes, if you give the backhoe model # maybe I'll have a book and we can figure these questions out.

I have a big mo 500' has an Ottawa hoe on it and a loader. My hyd reservoir is in the loader upright just like yours is. Mine has a drain plug in
the bottom.

Sorry ILL John. Computer's been down. Like my tractor. Ok, let me check for spec plates. Been raining and it's covered with a tarp at the moment. I may have taken pics of that kinda stuff when I bought it couple years back and may still have them. Thanks.
