What year is a 22402161? Is there any web sites dedicated to the MM garden tractors? I see that it was built but Jacobson, what models cross with the MM, I would assume the sheet metal would be different. This is a fence round find, will need some parts. Not including the rusted out seat support, the sheet metal is as straight as a string & tractor is complete, so I would like to restore it sometime.Thanks!

On the corresponding MM and Jac models, they are identical sheet metal and all. If you're anywhere close to northeastern ILL, I can help with parts.

The 224 is MM numbers for a Town & Country 108. The 02161 should be the number built, depending what number they started with at the beginning of production. Now if I can find out what year that number fell in.

That serial number falls between my 1965 and 1966 108 models. The styling of the 65 and 66 models are quite different so it shouldn't be hard to tell from a picture. Is there a white band wrapping around the grill like the full size MM M602 or G705/6 tractors? If so, then it's a 1965 model. If the front grill styling has an aluminum insert at the top with an MM/Minneapolis Moline decal then it's a 1966 model.
