my great uncle back in the late 80's sold out his herd and his equipment on auction in NE WI, at that time He had a G750, and a G1350. He doesnt remember serial numbers and only has 1 picture of each, Both were bought new by him. only thing he remembers is that they both went to the same person in the state of Wisconsin, now my grandparents had a G-850 that we sold only 12 years ago for 2k, had a bad rod knock and the brakes were locked up from sitting in our shed for a few years, it only had 2900 hours on it. and at the time my grandfather sold it, he had the bill of sale notarized by his attorney that if we wanted to by the tractor back he would have to sell it to us, and that if he was going to sell it we had first pick at it. Now that being said, i called this gentleman and talked to him about purchasing the tractor back. He honored the fact that i would like it back and gave me a price of 20K. i looked at it and it is rebuilt and runs like a dream, my grandfathers writing is still on the sheet metal from counting loads in the silo. my grandma was in tears as she ran her hand over where my late grandpa had wrote. he would turn 75 this year and passed 10 years ago. we wanted it back to make it a memery of my grandpa cause he loved that tractor and didn't want to sell it but had to cause of the falling milk prices. i know its a rare tractor but 20k seemed to far out there, ive seen them from 8K to around 15K in original condition, and it was mint when we sold it. the only time it ever sat outside was on the blower.
