what is involved in putting a pto in a 705 that came from the factory w/o one thanks and about what would it cost

Pto on 705 is not live. You just need pto assembly and shaft. Any GV1,Massey 95 or 97. Believe U or G would also work also. If it was a G1000 it becomes a major job.

If your tractor has splined axles any of the models listed will provide parts. If it has keyed axles you need a 12 splined shaft inside and those can be hard to find. Let me know if you need parts. They are super easy to install. 507-360-6748
