New to this forum been reading for 2 years though. The UDLX at the Satterthwaite auction was serial #310591 according to the auction catalog. Did you know of the one in Florida owned by Bill Newman. I might have serial # for that one at home. Very interesting reading about the UDLX's that are still around.
 
Thanks for the Satterthwaite UDLX serial number #310591.....In the 1980's #310591 (pictured) was owned by Charles Sharpe at Chase,KS..He paid very little for it..Charles also owned #310517 that he bought at the Lyons,KS airport for $300.00..These were both sold some years back...If Charlie is still alive he would be around 90...As far as I know #310591 didn't have a cab when Sharpe owned it so one must have been found because it was advertised with a cab at the Sattherthwaite sale..

Did Bill Newman in Florida have (2) UDLX's? I know that the serial number plate got stolen from one of them..Any information that you can give me will be appreciated.....Thanks..

Satterthwaite UDLX was listed in the auction catolog as (cab needs restoration). It wasnt on the tractor. Bill Newmans UDLX serial #310565 had a cab on it with a rachet strap holding it on. I think when it was auctioned they announced that the cab was not being sold with the tractor.
 
Was the Satterthwaite sale in Ohio a couple of years ago? If so that tractor is in Indiana now. I cna probably confirm #'s if needed.

Thanks for the serial number....#310565 wasn't on my UDLX owners list..By doing some searching I found out that this UDLX sold for $31,000 minus the cab......Does anyone have a picture ?Also click on the link to read about the stolen serial number plate..From this topic it sounds like he had two UDLX MM's?

The sale was at Englewood,Ohio in June 2012...That would be great if you would want to get a picture and confirm the serial number..Thanks..Maybe its totally restored by now..
 
UDLX #310565 was how it was listed in the auction catalog I never looked for the tag, I will next time. I have several pics of the tractor, I don't know if I will be able to post them on here. I will try to work on that.
 
Its possible that the tag was stolen off another UDLX that he owned and not the one that sold.......I hope that you are able to post pictures...Thanks.....I just can't imagine why people would steal serial number tags...I've been lucky and never lost one..
