Maybe the bright harvest gold paint scared off some buyers. Imagine how it would stand out from the crowd in this picture- which most wouldn't have wanted back then.

That is a very valid point. Hadnt really thought about that. Yes, years ago people figured dont draw attention to yourself thinking you are better than others. You would have definitely brought attention to yourself with one of them.

Very true...I expect that the neighbors may have made fun of you for buying a tractor with a cab..It would have stuck out like a sore thumb..Back when the Dodge Daytonas and Plymouth Superbirds came out with the wing I've heard that people made fun of the owners..Look what they are worth now..
