I finally got this tractor back together and running and want to get the throttle to work like I think it should. Luckily looking through my U302 repair manual I finally found where the carb and converter came from on this tractor. Its a little crowded around the carb area for linkage with this setup. The throttle/governor linkage was cobbled to make this work at sometime. I made a new rod for the throttle and adjusted the linkage to the book. The tractor either idles or starts revving up at 3/4 throttle to full throttle. I am thinking about adjusting the arm on the carb to a different angle because at idle, the arm and linkage to the governor arm are straight and maybe causing a binding until the spring and the plunger over comes the binding. By working the arm on the carb the tractor will run at any speed you want. Any pics of linkage from a 302LP would be great, at idle and WOT, especially the back side of the carb. thanks chris
