Bare with me for a few more days and I will stop beating the UDLX horse to death..I need some information on the following UDLX MM's..

Pic 1-This UDLX sold for 78K at Grenora,North Dakota in October 2011...It was a one owner tractor purchased out of Wisconsin around 2000.....I doubt that I have the serial number for it....Anyone???

Pic 2-This UDLX sold at the Satterwaithe auction in June 2012 near Englewood,Ohio...I may not have the serial number for it....Anyone?? There was a cab for it which was under restoration..

Pic 3-This UDLX sold at the Gary Parker auction in Oct 2009...It was in Indiana....Since it has Wards rear tires I'm wondering if its the old Eshleman UDLX out of Iowa?

Pic 4-This UOPN was shown in Illinois in modern times.....Anyone??

In the 1980's there was a reported UDLX in the Recluse-Clermont,Wyoming area..Has anyone ever seen it?

UDLX MM #310604 was in the Fargo,N Dakota area in the 1980's..I have no picture..

In the 1980's a friend saw a cabless UDLX MM in the Winamac,Indiana area....Anyone???Again no picture..

In the 1980's a cabless UDLX #310522 was in the Rising Sun,WI area...Anyone???I have no picture..

In the 1980's a friend saw a UDLX in the Lustre,Montana area but didn't get a picture or the serial number..Anyone???

I have at least (4) 1980's pictures from Canada with no serial numbers....Anyone???

15-20 years ago a UDLX was for sale for 40K in the High Plains Journal..It was in Nebraska....Maybe the Benes tractor #310558 from Valparisio which got sold?

In 2006 (2) UDLX's were sold on the Newman sale in Florida..The serial # plate was stolen from one of them..

A UDLX was listed on the Johnson sale at Hector,Minnesota in Aug 2016...There was no picture or serial number..

I have been unable to get a picture or the serial # for the Balcolm Implement UDLX at Fairmont,Minnesota...It was stolen in the 1960's and found 43 years later..It was was discussed on 3-4 forums at the time.

Any help is appreciated to help document a UDLX serial number...I'm not out to try and purchase a UDLX,only document it..Thanks...My goal is to document that at least 90 tractors exist..

That one that was sold in Grenora, North Dakota, was sold by Vanderbrink Auctions Service, her first name is Yvette, out of Brandon South Dakota, But i doubt if she had the serial number listed on the sale bill!

If anyone thinks you're beating the UDLX horse to death they don't need to look at these posts. I think they're very interesting, I try to imagine what it was like to own a new one back then.

Yesterday I looked at a pre auction video of this UDLX..Yvette never gave the serial number on the bill or video but she sure let you know where the sale was held at numerous times....The UDLX is back a ways in the video..She did a classic car auction in my home town about 10 years ago..

Wow, very interesting, i remember reading about the sale. That will be some valuable footage a 100 years from now.

The one on the sale in Hector, MN did not have a serial number on it, and lots of pieces were not there. I did hear a few things from people looking at it in regards to it not being a real one. Supposedly it was leftovers from when he restored his, all piled around a UTS carcass. The auctioneers did not actually call it a UDLX at the sale, more of a let your imagination decide what it is type of deal.

Yes. It was a pile of parts that were and were not from a udlx. The sale bill was misleading when it said they were selling a udlx.

This has been absolutely interesting, and I see a need for a book of some sort with this documentation and photos. Outstanding, and thank you!

There was a UOPN on the 2004 Dupont classic tractor calendar.

If I am remembering correctly, the couple that owned it were from Alton Illinois.

I have the VHS tape that features the 2004 calendar line-up, but no VCR to refresh my memory.

Guys, thanks for the info......So Russell Johnson actually owned a UDLX at one time and it was already sold..

That looks to be elliot's UOPN serial # number on it was #16 and If i remember correctly it is the same tractor that was featured in a lot of the MM ads at that time that had the UOPN in it with Ms. Minnie MO. The picture looks to be taken at at Carlinville Il. during their Macoupin County Historical Society fall festival. They also used to and maybe still do build race engines for NASCAR.

I agree. I always thought the UDLX was nice but that was about it. Seeing pictures and information on how some were found and the condition they were in is very interesting. I have a greater appreciation for them because of it.

That is the Elliots UOPN......If its #310016,then its another one that wasn't on the list and one that I didn't have a serial number for...#17 and #18 still exist...That would make 14 of the first 25 left and I'll bet theres 1-2 more...

Thank You very much for all your information. Contact Clint Stamm in Washington KS.785.541.0062. They had 8 UDLX s at their show a few years back. Don't know if he know any serial numbers or not. Also get a hold of Cheryl editor of Prairie Gold Rush. She knows the people that have the OPEN that was at the Half Century of Progress show about 6 years back. Also PGR and The Collectors Magazine have both had articles on UDLX & OPRN in them at various times and know many UDLX owners. Here is Balcom's ph. #800.685.2309. Keep up the good work.

What I heard at the Russel Johnson auction in Hector was that the UDLX that he restored was in the shed with his car collection. He only sold the tractor collection.

Do you know where serial # 2 is located at? I think it had exp , or something like that on the tag. I know who restored it and where it is now.
Number one is in southern Minn . if I have the correct info.
Please do not think you are overdoing this UDLX thing ! It is very interesting and great info to have recorded. Thank you, Blaine . clint

#310002X was Jerrys....I don't know where it went but I think that I'm just going leave Jerrys name and all the other original owners names on the list like when they were first added ...My main interest is in documenting the serial numbers.. Some of these UDLX's change owners so often that its hard to keep up with them..

Russell Johnson is one name that I've never had on the UDLX owners list..It would be interesting to know his tractors serial number..

Picture #2 was sold by Aumann auction as serial # 310591 for $62,500 on 6/6/2012 at the Satterthwaite auction. The cab was in very rough shape folded up on a pallet with a bunch of other parts including at least part of a door and reproduction hood sides. I'm told Eddie Sloan purchased it. I was at that auction but did not confirm the serial number.

I just saw one of these this past Friday in southern Illinois!
