Did all UDLX's come with all options as standard equipment? Radio was either Delco or Philco. Headlights all appear to be different. What about rear spotlight? Were they all equipped with heaters, wipers, lighters, ashtrays, horn, full gauges, etc? Cab was made by Stopler. Most of electrics and heaters were GM. Window crank setup was International like R cab.

I'm thinking that all UDLX's did come with all the options...Most of the people that would have this information are long gone..Even if you were an 18 year old worker at the MM plant in 1938 you would be 97 years old now..

The first options to be taken out of most UDLX's by the owner were the radio and heater...Mine and most of the tractors found didn't have these in them..Mine still had most of the other options including the mirror with the clock and the spot light..

I always thought it was funny that a "cigar" lighter was listed. Now days it is a cigarette lighter.

In MM world the U was designation model. In UTS the T is for tractor and S is standard. I UDLX short for deluxe? And UOPN short of open. UTOX U tractor open experimental?

Came across some notes I had made on the UDLX a while ago. List of components differ from UTS. Crankcase,HC head, clutch, governor linkage,distributor,generator,Manifold/muffler,radiator and support, steering box,had outboard Bexdix brakes, bumper, throttle control,Upper countershaft and gears, speedometer drive, instruments, platform, gas tank, longer hand crank, steering wheel, oil breather to name a few.Rear main bearing is different for foot clutch.
