How collectible?

I just watched a piece on classic tractor fever (RFD) about the UDLX, which has been real popular on these pages of late. Been lovin the pictures, the history of so many that I still can't believe got tore up so bad. Truly an amazing piece that was so far ahead of it's time. Hence my question: is the UDLX the most collectible tractor ever, regardless of color or brand? I know that there are some out there that are the one & only survivor of their make, model, etc. so to me they would be priceless. I'm thinking about tractors that are rare, but still enough of to be acquired if ya got the bankroll to do so. Just wondering. DP

The UDLX has to rank at the top for a tractor that has a battery,a starter motor, and is on rubber tires...They are easy to operate and easy to haul...Yes,a few older tractors might bring equal or more money but there are usually only a few of each left...They were built a 100 years ago and are not easy to operate..

The big prairie tractors are very desirable and often sell in the 100-300K price range....They aren't easy to operate and they have to be hauled with a semi..Yet,I'd love to own one...A friend recently finished up a huge 60-90 Twin City tractor which makes it the 3rd one in existence...If one of these ever sells you could possibly buy 2-3 restored UDLX's with the money..

Heres the only Pontiac tractor known to be in existence which recently sold for 120K in California..Its rare but didn't reach the price of a UDLX where over 80 are known to exist..
