Heres two pictures that I took in the early 1980's near Larned,Kansas..Its a rare GTX MM which looks like a super size UDLX....That appears to be a UDLX cab???.A collector from Minnesota contacted me and I told him where it was and he bought it...Has anyone ever seen another one?

GREAT pictures you have been posting lately. I believe the pictures of the tractor in this thread is of a UTX. A GTX is a 6x6. Most of the GTX's I believe went to Brazil. If I am wrong on this, please correct me.
Once again, great pictures. Could look at them all day.

It's a UTX. The only one I'm aware of is in a MN collection. Probably the same one. It's restored without the cab now but I'm told the cab is still there

Thanks guys....I may of known what it was back in the day but its been way too many years ago......I never looked at the serial number tag and I never even wrote anything on the back of the pictures..I think this picture may be from before my UDLX days..I don't know why I didn't try to buy it..Since its the only known one not very many must have been built...

That is a tractor many people would live to have. I think there's some tractors we have all passed on, that we wish we could go back in time, and do over.

Are we sure it is a UTX? It has GT grill and extended tin. Does it run a 605 motor? Where do serial numbers fall? More similar to a GTI.

Google it and you'll see pics of the restored tractor. They had a 605 engine and 4wd. They used the GT front sheet metal.

Correction - they used a 425 6 cylinder engine. I believe they had their own serial numbers or possibly experimental numbers.

The grill on the first 2 pictures here appears to be a regular grill from a U. This is different from all of the pictures of UDLX tractors I have seen. Did someone replace a destroyed UDLX grill?

Although it resembles a UDLX it's actually a military UTX. The cab is about the only thing it shares with the UDLX.
