Heres (7) pictures of some of the well preserved and more complete
UDLX's from the 1980's..Most had been shedded, ran, and were
90% -99% complete..Some had older cosmetic restorations..Tractors
like this were few and far between..The second picture from the bottom
is #310552 that I got in NW Minnesota in 1983..The bottom picture is one from
WY that had been in the family since new...It sold in the late 80's for 10K
which was a big price back then..The one with the muffler thru the hood had the
wrong manifold..A UDLX manifold is one of a kind..

Thanks for all the Pictures. Great history. I didn't check part numbers but I think the UTI used the same manifold and same steering wheel. Also White trucks used that steering wheel.

UDLX has alot of variations from grills, headlights and even the fenders. Power train was basically the same as UTS except the foot clutch, crankshaft, distributor, gear driven generator, air breather, manifold and rad to name a few. Even in pictures there is not really any two the same. Was a challenge for a true collector to restore to correct originality. Radios were even different.

Picture #3 is our tractor. It is s/n 310612. My Dad was the third owner, but it was always in Butler County Pa. He bought it in 1974 and completed the restoration in 1987. It remains in our family. It is also picture #10 in the post of 15. That picture was taken just after the engine work was completed. It was bought with the engine opened to expose the pistons and left sit that way for years. I have a list of owners from the early 90's that Mrs. Wonder had compiled but as you indicated a lot of those have changed hands multiple times. Enjoyed your pictures, and so surprised to see ours.

Thanks
