GBD/GVI/G705 Fuel pump question

I have a bit of a theory question for you guys. I have a frankenstein Massey that's a cobble together job of a Massey 95 and 97. I thought it was just a 95 rearend with the 504 out of 97 in it. Not so much. Tried pulling with it, but it won't pull the hat off your head. Turns out it has the Bosch pump off of a 95 or Super 95 on it, instead of the Roosa Master that should be on there.

So, here comes the theory part. Is it possible to crank the Bosch pump up enough to get the 504 pulling good, or should I look for a Roosa Master from a 97/G705?

Have a wrecked GV1 with 504 and Bosch pump. Previous owner said it pulled real good. Reason
he quit using it clutch went out. Tells you something. All that was changed was blocks and
pistons out of a Massey 97. How does it start?

Thanks for the info gents, I think the consensus is pretty clear. Time to start looking for a pump.

It's a little cold blooded to start. Unless its warm out, like around 20 celsius, it wants a sniff of ether. And it pops and misses until it warms up. Once warm though, runs nice and smooth.

You may have read last year about my GVI MM with a PSB pump...It did pull pretty decent..
At the Adrian,MO pull there were (4) JD's and my GVI in the 1st gear 7500-8500 lb class...When
the dust settled the GVI had 2nd place with the stock PSB pump and 425 cube engine..The GVI
is just too fast in 1st gear so powered out..Some people thought that I was in 2nd gear..Just in case
I want to get serious I bought a Roosa-Master pump,drive,and lines off a G-1000..The 70 JD diesel
that won didn't beat me by much..
