M5 ampli torc

Split the tractor and removed the torc because it was not working last time I had it running.
I had always heard that there are "pawls" that go out but I don't see where they are at.
Clutch plates look good although I have not taken it apart.
What should I be looking for to fix the problem.

Thanks

Low range??? They are in the rear of unit spring loaded. The clutch plates in front are high range and rarely an issue. Get a book on them or repair manual it will help some. Unless the hub (the springs ride on) is bad its pretty simple.

So they are in the Carrier Hub, Cam Cage and bearing. Assembly number 10r928a ?
I.m still waiting on my repair manual to arrive from YT.

Thanks

If you go to your local AGCO dealer and ask them, they can give you access to the parts catalogs on your computer. This allows you to lookup part numbers and see pictures of how they are assembled.

Parts catalogs can be accessed on line for FREE with or without dealer intervention.

Here are a couple of videos that may shed a little light on the amplitorque.
