Is there room to put a belt pulley on a GVI? Looking a photos
of one for sale with no pulley attachment. If so will a belt clear
between the grill and front wheel? Thanks

I have several G VI Molines with a belt pulley. I use them to run the sawmill at the local show. You do have to watch when belting up to make sure the belt runs true and not off to one side of the pulley. I prefer the belt pulleys that can be taken out of gear. It is a lot easier to belt up with them. I back the tractor in a ditch with the left side higher up so the oil flows to the opposite or low side. This saves draining the oil.

Thanks, I couldn't tell by the photo how much room was between the main case and rear wheel and about the front clearance. Will a UB assembly fit it? Do you have any pulley assemblies for sale?

belt pulley , I have had a belt pulley on my GVI since I have owned it. The day I purchased it, it was belted to a M.M. thresher. The only thing I know about using the belt is the front axle rims were turned around on the hubs causing the tires/rims to be wider allowing more room for the belt to run. The man that I purchased the tractor from told me the belt would rub the tire if they were on the tractor correctly. Since I restored the tractor and had all new tires installed, I put the front rims on the way it would have left the factory and have not belted the tractor to anything.
