MM G1000 LP Leaks

We have a couple of minor leaks on our G1000 LP system. We are now almost empty and Winter is approaching so we decided to make work of them. The first one appears to be around the gauge. Has anyone had these gauges apart before? Looks like it is leaking around the base and will need a new gasket. Are those a standard LP gauge, or something MM specific?

The second leak is on the vapor valve. If you open it up much more than a crack it leaks out near the handle. I assume it is some sort of packing issue inside. Any ideas of how to approach this one? Can the valve be removed? Are they MM specific or something I might be able to get from an LP or High-lo supplier?

Sorry if these are rudimentary questions, have not worked with an LP tractor before this one so this is new territory.

Thanks,
Ryan

most of the gauge gaskets were standard with any LP tank. usually the valves had packing around the stems.

Most LP companies will have the valve repair kits. Just screw out the nut under the valve handle, and replace the innards (after the tank is empty!). Many times you can
just tighten the 4 bolts that hold the gauge in and it will quit leaking. The seal will compress over the years, and the bolts will get loose. Just be careful not to
break them off!.
