M670 Super Crankcase

Does anyone know difference in the 670 Super crankcase as compared to 670,M5 or 602. Ii know cranks are the same.

The super crankcase has the place to connect the tach cable above the oil pump on the side of the block & the drive for it on the end of the oil pump shaft. The others don't have this.

So basically if you could use old tach setup and replace whole crankcase it would be the same?

Depends on where the tach drive is on the earlier engine. If it is on the rear of the distributor drive then yes, but if it is located in the lower hole, you will need that hole for the hydraulic pump on the M670 Super.
