Electronic ignition

I really like the pertronix ignition, have put it on a Ford 601, a Jubilee and a 4000 Ford, in my opinion its the best thing since Blue Bell ice cream. I have been looking for the same set up to put on my Minneapolis Moline BF, no luck yet. Does anyone know if the pertronix is available for the BF, maybe there's a cross reference part number with other tractors that would also fit my BF, any info would be greatly appreciated..

Get the number off your distributor and go to the pertronix website where you can look up the kit by dist #. If it doesn't show there, call them and ask. They are knowledgeable and willing to help.

Just cleaned the plate on side of the distributor and can see that it's a Delco Remy with the number 1111736 2F26 on it. Ya'll probably can't read it in the attached picture. Will try to research those numbers and see if pertronix has something that will work...

Looks like the Pertronix Ignitor part #1142 will fit this distributor, Ebay has it for $50.22 free shipping.
