Looking to get more horse power out of a G -900, can this be done with bigger pistons and jugs ??? Need to keep up with the g-1000 on the pulling track . Thank you for your input

It really depends if you are gas, LP, or Diesel. Factory there is only a 10 horse difference. A 900 diesel can be wound up to the 110 mark. Is the G1000 you are trying to beat stock? Yes, a 900 diesel can be bored to 504 standard and just put in pistons. Crankcase is the same. I am not sure if that can be done with an LP. Blocks are all interchangeable too otherwise. If it is a diesel take a good look at your heads. 451 heads have a little more compression than 504 and really like to crack. The big MM's horsepower potential is pretty lacking.

I do not think the 425 blocks can be taken to 504. Should be pretty easy to find some 504 or 336 blocks. M5-M670-M602-G1000 should all work. If you really want a motor put in 4.81 pistons and a 6" 605 crank.
