The pto on the 670 doesn't stop and I am unable to even move the lever. I'm thinking an adjustment but can't see anything externally. I was hoping this wouldn't be a tear it down job but am starting to think otherwise.

You need to remove the hydraulic rockshaft assembly and the top cover to gain access to the PTO assembly.

I agree with Joe. Do you have a regular M670 or a Super model? There were some M670 Supers that supposedly had a plug on the right side of the rear end for adjusting the band brake but Ive never seen one with it. There is also a large plug on the top of the rear end cover for adjusting the pto but most of them Ive seen the plug is hard to remove if impossible.

It's a regular 670. Doesn't sound like a very fun job. Lazy me was hoping it would be easier.

It isnt a bad job to do. I know what you mean. I have another M5 that I have to adjust the pto on, synchronize the 3pt/valves and put a clutch in. Have to build some splitting stands first.
