M670 radiator

Just became the proud owner of my first Moline. Bought on an estate auction. Needed new batteries and it took off on the first turn. However, it seems to have a bad radiator. I could see that solder seal had been poured in it and when I started the tractor anti freeze came out at a rapid pace I was hoping it was just a hose but it isn't. Now for my question. It appears as if the radiator needs to be disassembled leaving the bottom. Lots of 5/16 bolts, but it looks like it should lift right off. I would assume there is a gasket between core and bottom tank. I wonder if the gasket is still available or could I use a gasket sealer? Want to get it going. Got some work for it to do.

I believe Welters Farm Supply, 14307 Lawrence 2190, Verona, MO. 65769-8224 ph. 417 four98 6496. should have that gasket or can get it. They are about the number one parts supplier for M/Ms.

I just swapped radiators on my M-5 and Welters had the gasket in stock. While you have it off (and it is easy) Check your hoses and belts, it'll be easier to swap them now then after the radiator is back on....

You might want to tap the heads of the bolts with a hammer before trying to take them out. Might save twisting some of them off.
