Hello,
I recently bought a JD 8 sickle mower to place behind my 335 with Tel-O-Flo hydraulics.
After getting the mount built for it, I hooked it up and tried lifting the bar with the hydraulic cylinder, attached to the 335's outer remote hydraulic port, The cylinder moved until it started encountering resistance (actually lifting the bar), and then would not go further. The engine didn't pull down (I had it on an idle), and there was no hydraulic buzzing noise (like the relief valve was opening), so I revved up the engine, but it made no difference: the hydraulic cylinder wasn't going to lift anything.
The 3-point operates OK though, and lifts quite strongly.
I then pushed on the hydraulic lever off to the side, so it could go slightly beyond the stop on the quadrant, and the cylinder lifted the mower fine. So it seems to me that the lever actuation isn't 'centered' properly.
How hard it it to adjust something like this? Do I need to tear the Tel-O-Flo system completely apart?
Thanks in advance,
Duane Kaufman
