1952-55 UTSD. Fairly common around here. Same dimension motor as gas model. Some came with
38 inch tires but most had 30's. Wheatland fenders were another option.

For anyone's future reference it shows the factory original placement of the decals. Minneapolis Moline followed by the model leter.
 
I love those old photos of new tractors. There was not a lot of attention-to-detail involved in those factory paint jobs was there. They even painted over the batteries. Thanks for the post.
 
Just curious, if you were to go to the right side, do you think that the U still follows the Minneapolis Moline name or is it going to be ahead of it? I'm going to have to go check our 1950 UTU that has never been painted and see if I can still see the U.
 
Letter originally followed Minneapolis Moline on both sides
It is the left side that often gets reversed when new decals are applied
 
As stated, the letter follows the Minneapolis Moline so that it reads the same on both sides. On the left side the letter is nearest the fuel tank. On the right side it is nearest the radiator.
