MM tumble Bug Plow

I am hoping someone can give me some ideas about how to get my plow to lock in the up position when I pull the rope at the end of a the field. Right now it will turn over but will go on over to the plowing position going the other way. I know very little about it and it has been sitting quite a while. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Are the latches and linkage all easy to move or are they rusted and unable to go to the latching position? If anything is binding, it won't work.

Does anyone know if there are new springs available? They look to be in bad shape. I will continue to work on the latches. They are still not easy to move.
Thanks

Our local hardware store has a big selection of springs. Just a suggestion.

Which springs are you in need of? The torsion springs by the latches were bad on mine. I made the springs
from round spring stock. Very painful experience when the tail got away from me when I was winding it and
caught me in the ribs. If I remember, the original springs are .135 and I think the spring stock I found is
.155". Worked fine and looks good. Get all you linkages to move easy and if the springs are still good, it
should work. If I can be of any help, let me know.
