All were TC grey unless someone painted them. Working on a late 1938 and it is original and grey. Also have a 37 which has bee painted prairie gold bu doesn't look right. Bet if I scraped paint there would be grey underneath.
 
A couple of my KTA have dark green components. One has air tube and carb dark green. The 38 I am working has a dark green steering control arm.
 
Only reason they were repainted PG1 was sales. No one wanted an old TC grey model. They wanted new Prairie Gold color. Can you imagine having a choice of a 1938 UTS or UDLX with bright gold color or a KTA on rubber or or steel in drab grey with a bit of trim at a reduced price.
