Rim width on M670

My 670 has 16.9x34 tires. Yesterday the casing on one split (old tire). I set out about 450 bales a year with this tractor. As near as I can tell the spin out rims are 16 inch. I am thinking that I would be able to go to 18.4x34 tires move a little faster and slightly better clearance.

Am I correct that the spin out rim is 16 inches? With the bigger tires I would not need water, primary use is setting out bales and a 10 ft pull type brush hog.

Thanks for your thought

Just a quick run down. Diesel bear is right but to go in to a little more detail a proper size wheel is two inches narrower than the tire when measured from inside the bead surface. A 16"wheel fits a 18.4 ect. You can go up a couple sizes and be perfectly fine but thats how its supposed to work.

I have a question for you guys if you dont mind helping i have 3 point mount wood splitter i found a m670 diesel does it have the hydraulic capacity to run splitter
Thanx very much

A lot of tires will tell you the rim width on the tire its self. It will read 18.4 X 34 (On 16" rim). 15.5 X 38 on a 14" rim. 13.6 X 38 on a 12" rim and I believe 12.4 X 38 on a 11" rim and the 11.2 X 38 on a 10" rim. I have 18.4 X 34s on my M670 Super.
