From the M-M, Oiver color slide collection at the Floyd County Museum. M-M G1355 built 1973-1974. You could get this in M-M (yellow) or Olver (green). It was sold in Canada from the start of production as a Whie 2270.

W-O-W and double WOW. Im wondering if these had a reflective tape on the hood and something
similar on the grille insert rather than black like others were? Thank you for posting it.
Please post more if you have them.

That's a beautiful picture of those old brutes. I too was wondering if that is an early one, like 73. Ours (74 model) had a white cab but it had all yellow sides with just black name letters and then the reflective strip on each side and White name on the grill. I sure like the white sides better. It looks classier like the Vistas were. I also see that this one does not appear to have the external oil pump yet and also it has the old round oil cooler instead of the newer rectangular type.

Don't forget they were also available
in red. At least some of the 2270s were
Cockshutt red and clover white. Odd
color combination, but looked pretty
good.

Hey Alan, yes our '73 original paint 955 has the black reflective decal stripe down the side of the hood. The 73s like in the photo had the white side panels while the 74 models went to yellow panels. Personally I like the white to help break up the all yellow. I sure would like to have that 13!

Hi Brad, I agree, I like the white painted side panels better. I was wondering if the 1974 models have the screen behind the grille white in color as most all of the 1973 models had black? I would like a 1355 myself.

Not sure, haven't seen to many of any of those tractors. IIRC the 74s I've seen the color was white and it also said White in small letters in the top screen where the 73s had the MM emblem. I wish I could find the missing emblem for ours or somebody would reproduce 'em.
