MMDEL got a deutz engine question

They told me over on tractortalk that you new a lot about deutz engines and I am putting the head back on a F21511 and need to know the torque for the head bolts and valve adjustments,Thanks for any help

Typo: F2 2011, I am assuming it is a 2 cyl. The number after the F should be the number of cyl s. The older version would be an F2 1011.

checked it again and it is a 2 cylinder air cooled F21511 and says motor # 7721802,it powers a generator and I was going to take the engine off and put it on my hay
baler after I get it running. Thanks

I finally figured out what you have. It evidently is a F2L 511. It uses 4 stretch bolts for the head. The tightening procedure is as follows. Torque to 30 ft lb then tighten 45 degree 3 times and 30 degree the last time. I always run a tap down the block and scratch the bottom of the hole and blow out so you are sure the head bolt doesn't bottom out.
The valve setting is .006 both valves, over night cold.
I don't know what kind of baler you have but that is only a 19HP engine at 1800 RPM.
