If you study the parts book carefully you will see the gasket 10A8622 fits for intake and exhaust on gasoline engines bur only exhaust on diesel engines. 10A3016 is required for intake on diesel engines the ports being on the opposite side of the head, In all cases two of each are needed for the respective engine.
