What year and how many were made?

I have a neighbor with a UB diesel in the shed. I would like to know the year and how many were made.Sorry about upside-down ser. no. Mike

The year is 1954 on the engine. There were 5019 D283-4 engines made for the UDU and UDS tractors from 1952-1960

Designation is UBUD. Made in 1954-55. 1041 made in the two years.

Am curious about the MM plow beside it. Is that a later pull type plow?

The tractor looks like it got power steering, and radio, But that plow i am guessing it's a case

The plow has MM right on the side of it. It is the same plow as the last semi-mounted plows with the wheel package to make it a pull plow. Just a guess if it was pulled by the UB it is probably a four bottom because it has the add on bottom bolted to it.
