How many UTN's were made?

Any one know about how many UTN's were made?

I'm picking up the remnants of one this weekend. Not sure if the SN is a UTN (need to clean the paint off the tag), but it does have the single front wheel. The crankcase is a newer 336 and was only put there to make it easy to move, no jugs or anything with it. All of the original engine is gone.

It's just a parts tractor for me, but if it's somewhat rare I'll treat it a little different.

roger h mi. Richard Kenyon has a very nice single frt.wheel unit with a good tire and tube for sale. It was on a UB. Phone : 309 714 5785.

So the tag says it's a UTU so the single front was changed at some point.

The single wheel is kind of growing on me. I might keep that and ditch the UTS front I have now. I'm building a UTS for pulling. It will pretty much be a mash of parts anyway.

My plan was to eventually build a lightweight front for it, narrow wide front. So the whole cast piece would be ditched anyway. I'm thinking running the single wheel for a while and see how it works.

I do recall, from the company, a person could order a different front end and have it "field" installed so yours might still be correct in some form.
