Questions on MM U UB diesel tractor

Guys: I stumbled across one it runs (I have not herd it yet) IT is a UB I am familiar with the U in general. But what can you tell me about the diesel what to look for MY BIGGEST FEAR IS PARTS WOULD BE MADE OUT OF UN-OBTAINIUM???? I also dealt with the later diesels like 602 series but believe the u is different. Thanks for any help

Biggest issue with U diesel would be injection pump. Most had Bosch rotary and some has inline. The rotary is harder to source parts if required. Majority of motor parts available. It is same top end as Gb diesel or GV1 except 4 cylinder.

Don't know anything about UB's, but I do have a lot of experience with "unobtainium" parts...just never knew the correct terminology 😀

About any injection pump can be redone for $800 on the top end
