looking at a m602 diesel with a loader and was
wondering what you guys think of them. We will
probably use it for just used for moving snow and
dirt other stuff around the yard

The M5 and the M602, basically the same tractor, are a good sturdy tractors. The diesel engine is a good workhorse and runs pretty cheap when not working to hard. The tork could be a bit spendy to repair if it is not working. Other than that they are a good tractor.

They are a bit hard to start when the weather is cold. A tank or engine block heater would be a big help. If you use either, use it sparingly as it can ruin the engine if not careful.

As said a good tractor but MM diesel Is somewhat rare and any engine parts could be an issue. Not the best loader tractor by todays standards but will work. Old diesels can be an issue in the winter.

I have a 602 diesel. They are an OK tractor, but a bit clumsy. My biggest gripe is that the pedals are too high. I have to lift my leg to get my foot up to the pedals. And you can't set the wheels for 30 inch rows. I have never started mine during the winter. You will need a type of heater for sure.
