I have recently noticed that the power steering pump belt is wearing excessively and it appears to be because the power steering pump pulley is about a half width of the belt off of alignment from the alternator and crankshaft pulleys. All parts (brackets, pulleys, etc) are stock. Why would this be and is it normal?
I don't see that there is any way to shift/space anything to make the pulleys line up properly.
I would like to change the pulley on the power steering pump to have less offset but I can't seem to find a pulley that will work.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
