MM PG1 Paint

I got a spray can once and it was darker than PG2. PG1, as I'm sure you already know had much less of an orange tint than PG2. I'm working with my local PPG supplier to come up with a good match in the Omni acrylic enamel line. I have a 1938 ZTU and a 1940 RTS to paint sometime soon. The RTS has some good examples of original paint that I used as a starting point. I polished it, they took pictures of it and we went from there. We are real close. I just had them mix another pint of test paint today. The last batch looks a little too bright in the sun, so we increased the black content a tad bit. Truth is, the PG1 varied a lot, so anything close could be considered to be correct. 1937 and 38 models had the lightest shade, closer to a true yellow.
