G1000 Hydraulic Oil Filters

Anyone have the part numbers for the hydraulic oil filters for a G1000? Looks like one is canister type and one is spin on. Mine have been painted over so hard to see any numbers on the spin on. My manual has some hand written notes with filter numbers but one of them does not cross (10A2427) and I am not sure that is correct as it is hard to make out the handwriting.

Would like to have the filters on hand before removing the old if possible.

Thanks,
Ryan

Wix catalog lists 51567 2 of them. But the catalog doesn't list 10A2427 but lists 10A24247 that changes to 57601 that shows it for a john deere.

Thanks for the info, I looked up both those filters and they both show as canister filters, but from what I can tell we have one canister and one spin on. I am starting to wonder if the spin on was a conversion at some point....

Are you working on a row crop with 3pt? If so then there is a replacement cartridge filter mounted horizontally under
the platform that looks like a spin on throw away filter but you unthread the filter housing and replace the cartridge
inside. OEM # is 10P3062 which crosses to a WIX 51420. The vertical filter mounted by the bell housing is a strainer
only. You should be able to wash that one out.

10A24247 is used with the Wheatland Type F hydraulic remote system and is mounted under the seat - I think inside the reservoir.

Yes, row crop w/3point. It has the teleflo, and it is an early serial number so it sounds like I have the smaller hydraulic pump. What you explains sounds exactly like what I have, and it makes more sense that there are several layers on paint on what looked like a spin on filter (whew, was hoping it has not been that long since it was last replaced). Picking up the filter on the way home tonight to give it a try.

So the reusable is just setup to clean up in diesel fuel or the like?

Thanks,
Ryan

I used mineral spirits to clean my strainer. I'm sure diesel would work too. Just be sure to dry it out well to prevent
contamination in your hydraulic system.
