It looks like I'll be there on Friday.....I called the other day and got one of the last motel rooms in Kirksville...I think that the last one I went to was Waukee,Iowa in 1985 so its been awhile...I'd like to stay for Saturday but I never miss the PPL pull at Wheatland,MO...

(quoted from post at 09:54:08 09/14/15) Planning on being there thurs.,fri.,sat.

We will be there on Friday and Saturday. Looks like we are staying in Hannibal, MO. Camping got kabolished at the last minute.

Are some of you that will be at the Shelbina show mite be going on to the Jerry Erickson estate sale at Osage,Iowa. We cannot get to the M-M show and be at Iowa too. Had to choose between them. Mite get to a M_M show next yr. Ericksons sale will be a 'once in a life time event. Hope to see M_M friends at the sale. clint.

I'll be there Friday and Saturday. Planning on bringing my Jetstar. Might be needing some 900 diesel heads.. mine are beyond welding.

I'll be there Fri afternoon, going to be there Sat and Sun, not sure how long on Sunday tho. If my "cut-away" R engine is there, I'm there.Hope to see you there

Chris Q, email or get a hold of me and text me and I'll give you the run down on G900 heads. They're impossible to find and extremely expensive.

Joe, you can email me if you would like. My address is [email protected] I know most of them are cracked. I found a place that will weld them, but the first batch I bought them are too far gone.

David,I had the pto at the Lathrop sale but I guess you didn't make it....We will be in the wifes vehicle at Shelbina so can't haul
it..Sorry..

Are we talking G-900 diesel heads? If so I guess that I was unaware that they cracked....We put thousands of hours on two
different G-900 diesels with no head problems..I've got a friend that bought a new G-900 diesel in 1968 and I don't think the
motor has ever been apart...We had a M-5 LP burner that cracked a head which was quite common..

I think this should be moved to a new thread, but sadly "all MM doesel heads crack particularly the D451 heads it's just a matter of if they leak or not".

Be extremely cautious of someone who says they can weld them. I had several " welded heads" that were worse then before. Also watch to see that they don't plane too much off the bottom of the head to clean up the welds, I broke a water manifold one time because they surfaced off way too much.
