BF electrical question

Just started to work on a BF that I drug outta neighbors woods. Would like to get fired up before sinking too much into it. It is not stuck. It ran out of gas on him and sat for 10 years in same spot. Battery cables were shot. I replaced. My question is: what does the fuse in the fuse holder on the dash above the key control? It is blown. Will it keep the push button for starting from turning over the starter? Thanks in advance for any help. These YT forums have helped me save quite a few tractors over the years.

Don't have BF diagram, but if like other models the fuse is most likely for the lights. If so it should not affect anything else
