Before we got the R out the other day we checked the oil out and it was way over full. Was full of anti freeze. Anti freeze measured -35 last fall when we checked it.Just redid the motor 2 years ago. Pulled the head off and the gasket looked good. What is the next step? Any ideas as to what could have gone wrong?

R and Z blocks were prone to crack or rot out at top of
block just above piston. Have seen several recently. Water jacket in block is thin when new. After 65 years they get thinner. There is no other way to get antifreeze in oil besides head or gasket. If running look for at color of spark plugs. Doesn't look good!

I agree with molinegb, I head one of my Rs did the same thing sitting in the shed antifreezed also, pulled it a part and the block had rusted through above the piston and dumped the antifreeze into the crankcase.
