I see quite a few 605's up for sale lately. I am curious about what a person could expect for horsepower with a stock bore and stroke HD 605
with a new cam and roller rocker setup. A little more rpm's also. Is 150 a stretch or a real possibility? High compression heads also either
4232's or 4233's. Looking to replace a 504 with a little more zip.

I believe 150 is not going to require much more than a good LP engine running on gasoline with a good carb. I had a GB with a 605; stock with 4210 heads and a zenith carb that my 140hp dyno would not pull down. Not at all hard to get a 403 to go near 100hp. add 2 more cylinders ..........

170-180 is pretty attainable number
