DOnt have a manual, how many quarts of oil does this thing hold. I think its six? Thanks a bunch

NO! I cannot believe a I & T manual would have any wrong information in it! Actually finding any info in one is suprizing.

The R and Z series use 7 quarts. The overhead valve 206 Cubic inch and 220 CU inch engines all use 6 quarts, with a filter change. If the large filter, ( napa 1515) is used it may require a touch more then 6 qts as the original filter was a bit smaller then the napa 1515. The naps 1515 is the best filter to use and is what Scout has on his 302 which is why his hold 6.5 quarts. A napa 1068 filter is also a good choice and will get you to the original 6 quarts. The IT book is not correct.

I should have added that JoePro. I use the NAPA 1515 filter on the JS3 too, which adds .5 quarts to the capacity.
