Better 705 pics

Remembered to get off the seat and take a couple "stills" just at sunset last night.

Nice looking tractor. Several years ago I drove a friends G706 diesel to a somewhat local tractor show that was featuring MM. That 4" exhaust sure lets out a beller when you open it up.

Compared to the John Deere guys with straight pipes, the Minnie is a pleasure to listen to. However, it's still best to wear ear plugs because after a while even the dull drone gets to you. Plus the ear plugs muffle other noises that may cause you some angst. thanks for your comments Alan!

Kind of curious, how would the 705 do with that pull type plow in heavy clay? Reason I ask is the pull type doesn't transfer weight like a semi-mount.

I wear earplugs as well when Im out in the field. Chopping stalks especially. I don't think I would get along real well with a straight pipe exhaust.

I suspect, not nearly as well. I have some difficulty as it is with traction. I changed the hitch position on the plow and I think that gave me a little more downward pull but not nearly enough if the tug was much harder. I have huge weights on the inside of the wheels, I think that they're 400# each but I'm about to load the tires, too. What brand of plow are you pulling in your pic?

That's a Moline plow, can't tell you the number. Dad bought it new (4 bottoms) with the Minneapolis 670. He added another bottom and had to beef up the hitch when it was behind the 150 hp Allis. This was many years ago.
