Wiring Harness

I picked up a MoTec UB wiring harness at a sale. Does anyone know if this UB harness will work on a U?

My UB parts catalog R-1119C page 66 gives UB wiring harness as part number 10A3746, wiring harness for a UTS gas or tractor fuel uses part number 10A2064.

Repair catalog R-1115A for U tractors, on page 88 gives wiring harness of U gas tractors as 10A2064

Connections on a late model U and UB should be the same. Looking at pictures of both, it appears to me that there is a little more space between gas tank and gauge panel on UB than on U, so UB wires might be slightly longer. If that is the difference I see a good chance the UB harness will work on a later model U with split blocks and generator with regulator, not just a cutout. Even if not a direct fit it should be easy to adapt.
