Gentlemen, recently did a total rebuild on my 504 LP engine. Purrs like a kitten. Was using it in the field the other day and it started losing power and missing. Idle it down and it ran perfect so I'm thinking problems with the Century M5 regulator. Any thoughts out there? I did get it out of the shed today and it seems to run fine. Thanks in advance. Steve

Do you start on vapor and after warm-up switch to liquid?? Working the tractor will need to be on liquid.

If you can, increase the fuel mixture, that is, make it richer and try again. See if that doesn't solve the problem

I am going with the vapor idea...Have you looked at the regulator as she loses power? If it is all frosted up, then the regulator is not getting Water flow......
